Update

It's been awhile, again.

The kids are keeping me super busy lately, busier than usual.

Kilynn is back in school, she loves it! And was not even a little bit anxious about starting this year! yay! I can't believe she's off to kindergarten next year, I'm really not ready!

I carpool with another mom also. She only has Wednesdays off, so she takes the girls that day, and I take them monday and Friday. I'll admit, it was strange to me to let someone else drive me daughter to school. But it does make things a little easier on that day. And they aren't complete strangers, the little girl was in Kileys class last year, and they live right around the corner. We've had a couple playdates as well.

She's also back into soccer. She asked me why she wasn't in it anymore. We decided she should take a session off, just because she'd been in it for two straight 8 week sessions. So, now she's back in the Fall session. Aiden (my brother) is again too, so we pick him up on Thursdays and bring him home for awhile to play before going to soccer.

She starts dance tomorrow, as well. She's really excited!
It's costing more than we should be paying. So, I really hope she enjoys it.
I'll let you all (or whoever might still be reading my blog) know how she likes it.
Other than all that she's doing well. Attitude is progressing, but I expected that. She can be quite sassy at time...mouthing off here and there. But it could be worse, I imagine.

Lucas is doing good. He's been ornery, even more than usual.
It's been a very challenging week with him. The "terrible-twos" are hitting hard.
He's not listening, and totally testing his limits. Nothing works though to discipline him.
I'm not sure what to do about it.
When he isn't being ornery, he's a very sweet little boy. He's dying to go to school like his big sister. He loves taking her and picking her up. We've been visiting a friend and her nephew while Ki's in school, so he's getting out and playing with other kids as well. Which he really enjoys.
He's talking more. More and more words are becoming clearer.
Now when we pull into our neighborhood he says " blahblahblah home". It sounds like "are we home" but all that's clear is the HOME. LOL! But he's trying.
He's fighting his asthma treatments again.
We were doing it with the nebulizer, twice daily. It took about 5 minutes each time.
Then I asked the Dr. about other alternatives. So we're using a regular inhaler but with a spacer (plastic tube with mask at end), it was working great at first..and SOOO much quicker (which is good with my always moving son). But when he's being ornery, it doesn't work so well. My little booger.

So between school, soccer, dance, and Lucas, I'm staying fairly busy.
I'm not working the part-time job at the b&b anymore. It just wasn't working with Sunday being Ryans ONLY day off work. It was taking away from "family time". And, I didn't LOVE it, as it was.
If anything else pops up that would work out, I'm not against working part-time.

We have several home "projects" we want to get done soon as well.
Cleaning the garage (as well as organizing it)--at this point we can hardly walk in it. Ugh!
Painting the back deck before it starts raining tons. The last owners didn't paint it with very good paint, and it's all peeling, and the wood will rot. Ugh again!
We're planning on getting wood floors. We were going to just let someone else do it, but it will cost much less if we do it...just need to find time!

I'm also working on purging through my house! My stuff, kids stuff, clothes! All of it!

So, that's out update for now!
It's bed- time!
