Snowballs........AND ICE

We went bowling Sunday afternoon, while we were there it started snowing. Of course, we didn't think it'd stick much, since it was so wet outside.
--Well, it did. We took a break and let the kids check it out, in case it stopped before we were done bowling.

Both kids loved bowling. Kilynn had been before, but it was new for Lucas. He was pretty into it. It was fun for them, especially with the bumpers up.

Of course, when we got home we went out to play in the snow for a bit.

We also decorated our tree Sunday night, it was nice to do while it was snowing outside. Very "Christmasy".

We woke up to more snow yesterday, and did some more playing. School was cancelled and daddy went to work late. That afternoon we managed to venture out to a local park, and so some sledding. The kids had never been before, and although we didn't have a real sled, the (round) tube raft worked just fine. They loved it!! I'll upload those pictures probaly later tonight or tomorrow.
It got really cold last night, and the power went out for a few hours. We're lucky though, some people have been out since before that, and some still don't have it. Alot of the trees were already weak from our wind storms, and tons of rain. So the heavy snow brought a lot down.

It was 25 degrees today, expected to be 17 tonight. Brrrr! Everything is really icey, and school has already been cancelled again tomorrow. I don't imagine I'll be venturing out. I'm a wimp. It'd be one thing if I were use to it, but we don't get it often enough here to be "seasoned" snow people.
Either way, it's nice for awhile, to play. But it can melt now, and warm up a bit, atleast so we can go out and about. ;0) I don't think we're expecting any kind of rain until Thursday. In fact, we're planning on more snow tomorrow evening.
