Will it slow down?

We had a busy weekend! Over town three days in a row, and to Oak Harbor yesterday ( an hour north, on North Whidbey).

Friday is started, with a trip over town. Destination- Build-a-bear and the mall. We went with a friend and her daughter. For her daughter Krisann's birthday.
Kilynn brought her poodle from B-A-B because she already has two, and I didn't feel the need to get another.

So she fluffed, air bathed, and brushed her poodle (which she named Kitty, lol).
And picked out a new outfit.

hen we had dinner, and did a little shopping. We also took their picture at the Picture People, but I haven't scanned those in yet.

Both girls had a great time!

Saturday started as a normal day, I was about to start cleaning. I was trying to get some wax out of my oil burner (glass part) with a butter knife. It all shattered in my hand. I cut my finger, it didn't hurt as much as I expected it to. But it was pretty deep (this picture doesn't do it justice).

So off to the ER I went.
5 stitches, for two weeks. The worse part was the needle to numb it, right in the wound. Ugh. But right now, my arm hurts just as bad from the tetanus shot.
This was my first injury resulting in stitches (never broken a bone yet either).
It hurts a bit, it's in a dumb spot, where my finger moves the most. But I can still type, so obviously it isn't that bad.
It shall heal.
So after I got home from the ER, I went to take Kilynn to another friends birthday party. She had fun. Then home again, freshened up, and headed back over town to get Ryan, shop a little, and pick my gparents up around 10 p.m.
They are here for the month of December, and will be spending Christmas with us. The kids are thrilled. I've always been very close to my gparents, and I love seeing my kids do the same.

Sunday, my gma, sister, Kilynn and myself went over town AGAIN, to the mall, and Costco..boy, was that an expensive Costco trip!

Yesterday, I had to go to Oak Harbor for a dentist appt. and Walmart for a few things. Another long day.

Today, I stayed home!! Cleaned the house and finally got around to letting the kids paint the ornaments I made Friday.

Tomorrow, I need to get my cards ready to send, package up a couple gifts, and do some baking and jam making!!

I think this will be a busy month, don't you?

Anyway, that's my update for now!

Here's some writing of Kilynns, she's improving alot lately.
