Time

Seriously, where had the time gone?

It's funny, days sometime feel really long, but weeks fly by!

Before I know it my kids will be 10 and 12! Yikes!

Luke had his hearing & vision screening today. All looks fine, did I ever mention that the speech therapist came and talked with us. Turns out Lucas isn't all that far behind, and since he's finally starting to use so many words we're going to give him more time to "perfect" them. Eventually the therapist thought he might need help with articulating the sounds, but that's not for sure yet, because he's doing what most toddlers do at this age; leaving out certain constanants, etc. It was nice to hear that all was good. I was fairly sure he was fine. I wasn't even all that concerned that he wasn't talking (because he was more and more, and he understand everything), it was simply that he seems to have a harder time pronouncing certain words.

Kilynns stitches are all healed and the scar looks pretty good, and I'm sure it'll fade too. It's right under the curl of her lower lip, so it's actually hard to see most of the time. But maybe I mentioned all this? I should've checked when my last post was.

I bought our Disneyland tickets. It turns out everyone wants to go, lol. We're going three days, and have different people coming with us all three days. But it'll be fine. As long as everyone understands, that for us; the trip is for our kids, not us adults. The kids are really excited to go again, well Lucas doesn't remember the last time, but he's excited too. ;0)

It snowed yesterday. The kids have been playing in it off and on since than. Lucas likes it, but only for so long; if he gets wet or cold, he's done. Kilynn on the other hand will stay out all day if we let her. While Luke napped I let her stay outside for awhile, and I went back out and she was just sitting in the swing eating snow. She loves eating snow. ;0) Another time, I found her just laying in it. Luckily she had snow gear, and doesn't get wet.
