High-spirited?

I really hate to "label" my kids. I try hard not to. But I was reading this little bit about the "high-spirited" child in one of my recent parenting magazines and it definatly sounded like Lucas.
The high-spirited child is otherwise referred to has high-needs.

"But the high-energy kid is the one who can get to the top of the refrigerator. All toddlers say 'no,' too, but a spirited child's 'no's!' are louder and more frequent, his tantrums longer lasting and more intense. You gradually realize that as a parent you're working harder than your neighbor, whose child is simply not as intense, persistent, and emphatic as yours. Your child is still normal, he's just more of everything."

This does sound like him. Though his tantrus don't seem tooo horrible, yet. I mean, he has them, but it seems fairly common for his age.
But I've also said he's OCD. He has to figure things out, have them a certain way, and if someone cuts him off before he's satisfied with whatever he may be doing he gets mad/frusrated.
Often, I interfere, because Ryan won't quite get that sometimes you just have to let Lucas express himself.
Lucas is not only high-spirited, he's also sweet, loving, hilarious, and just an overall happy kid.
But I think I'll read the book the magazine suggested, just out of curiousity.

We still have no list of supplies, teachers name, anything from Kileys school. It's frustrating.
I'm so worried about how she'll do. She's such a sensitive/emotional girl. Don't get me wrong, she can hold her own with her brother, and gives us plenty of attitude.
But sometimes I think she's quite passive with her peers, and doesn't stick up for herself.
I don't think she'll understand that some kids play with you somedays and not other days, etc.
I'll probaly worry about this endlessly for years to come.
She'll be fine, she'll be fine!
I'll keep repeating that.
