Lucas did so good at speech today.

We're working on his "k" sounds. Mostly working one when they are at the beginning of a word.

King, kite, cat, can, etc.

When it's at the end; pink, it tends to be even harder for him.

He seems to use the "T" sounds for "k" sounds when at the beginning. Using the front of his tongue, not letting it fall back towards his throat. When it's at the end of a word, he just leaves it off all together.

Anyway, it's interesting. And I'm glad we're doing this now, the hope is that he won't need speech therapy anymore by kindergarten.

He's loving preschool too, he's super excited to go. I'm glad! We're lucky and grateful that the school is letting him attend on a scholarship for the rest of this year.
