A little late

Whidbey Wednesday!

This is Deception Pass.The only bridge on the island. Or attached to the island.

It's located on the north end. We don't take it often, as we don't go up that way for much. We use to, when my sister lived in Bellingham, close to the Canadian border. Even then at times, we opted to take the ferry and use the freeway.

I've yet to walk across the whole thing. Maybe I did once, as a young teenager, but I can't remember. It's very high, and thin.

There are warning signs on it. A persons head getting hit by a semi's side mirror. Imagine that? Ouch!

There's also camping, hiking, etc. It's quite a trek down to the beach.

I was on a boat once under it, it sure was pretty turbulent under there.
