Growing up

My kids are both getting so big. It's more and more apparent lately.
Kilynn is talking so much like a big kid (attitude and all) lately, she just sounds older. And the looks she gets are so "grown-up". Suddenly four seems so much older than three.
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love watching them grow up!
It just hit me a couple days ago, how much older she was acting.

Lucas is starting to actually use words without being prompted. He's consistantly uses Mama, Daddy, kitty, Uh-oh, ouch, papa, grammy, and bubble, and ball. We can get him to repeat some others, but alot of them sound the same. He seems to have a little trouble changing sounds, expecially one right after another.
I can't imagine all he'll have to say when the words start flowing. ;0)

He's decided lately, that if he cuddles with mommy, it gives him a few extra minutes to stay up at bedtime. It's funny.

Kilynn slept over my dad last night, and was had a blast. Until bedtime. She called at 10:30 p.m. (she had been up late the night before, gotten up early that morning, and not napped), so she was having a meltdown, and in serious need to bedtime.
But she cried off and on all night. So my dad brought her hom at 4:30 a.m. on his way to work.
Everyone was bummed. She'd spent the night there atleast a few times before. She was just having a rough night, I guess.
She went back to sleep until 9:30 a.m. and took a three hour nap today.

Well, Kilynn apparently isn't asleep, as she just came out of her room for a new pull-up. Before that, it was to get her kitty from under her bed.
Better get this girl to bed.
