We had a lazy day today!
Karate didn't as well as I thought, Kiley participated at first and was excited to start, but midway through she said she was done. I think it was overwhelming for her, and she didn't know any of the kids.
We were invited to try again this Wednesday with a smaller class, but I talked to Kiley about it today. And she'd like to wait until "she's a little taller". I think we'll wait for now.
We had a really nice 4th of July. That weekend we went up to Ft. Casey with family, and flew kites
and walked the fort. The 3rd there was a firework celebtration at the park. It's a yearly thing a local church puts on. The kids had fun in the jumpers and slide. Kilynn even participated in the Oreo Stacking Champoinship. She did really well, until they fell over. ;0)
On the 4th, the kids rode in a local parade, we all took naps, than off to our friends we went for a bbq and fireworks.
We're still doing lots of swimming, and even went lake swimming yesterday...I'm not a huge fan of water where I can't see the bottom, but even I got in.
I had a photo shoot at home today, just for the heck of it. It'd been awhile.
