So, last night after my post we had a little incident here at home.
Back story: Ryan had his tooth pulled yesterday, had used the nitrous gas as well. And had taken a pain pill.
So, last night, after I posted I went to bed. I was just getting into bed, when Ryan got up to use the restroom. He came back through the doorway, said "whoa" started to grab for the bed and collapsed onto the floor and Kilynn (who was asleep on our bedroom floor).
Kilynn was fine, it was mostly Ryans upper body laying across her, his knees landed in front of her body and his head was still kind of against the bed.
I tried catching him on his way down, but well, you can imagine how that went.
So, I roll him off of Kilynn, and yell his name a few times. I tried moving his head, and his eyes were like open like they were stuck open looking, and his neck felt stiff. He wasn't repsonding and his breathing sounded kind of wierd to me. But you know in those situations, it feels like forever, and it's not, and he could've been snoring for all I know.
Anyway, when I see he feels stiff, and just doesn't look right I called 911 and they sent an ambulance...if he hadn't been stiff I may have assumed just passing out but that part scared me.
So while I'm calling 911, and yelling downstairs for me mom to come help with the kids I hear Ryan from our room "what happened?". It was probaly less than two minutes that all this took place. But it feels like forever.
The paramedics came and checked him out, his vitals were all fine. He probaly did get up to fast. He's fainted before, though I've never seen him do it.
With a combo of the pain killers, getting up to fast and the pain, that's probaly what happened.
We didn't feel the need for him to be transported to the hospital.
Soooo, that was my night.
I teased him that I'll need another year of therapy now. (I only went for 6 months a couple years ago).
3 years ago, when something like this happened to Kilynn I started having panic attacks a month later..the therapist thought that though it wasn't the sole reason, it may have jump started the attacks.
Anyway. Ryans at home resting today. He feels fine, besides a little pain. But it was scary at the moment.
