I know, I am crazy.
So, Friday we headed to the park, it was a beautiful 60 degrees out. We spent almost 4 hours there. With a short intermission for Lucas and I to run up to the Doctors office.
Midway through the fun, Lucas starts crying.. I don't see what happens but when I get to him, he's got blood spewing out his mouth and nose. Lots of it. Oh, and a couple bloody woodchips.
I can't find the injury & it's still bleeding, so I call head to the Dr.'s office. Halfway there, the bleeding stops, and Lucas informs me that he's hungry. Figures, but we go to the doctors anyway, just to be sure.
He's got a few cuts in his mouth, and some scratches on his face. But is okay.
Back to the park we go, where he plays the rest of the time we're there.
That boy, has always got a new bruise, scratch, etc. I swear!
Saturday morning Lucas had soccer (where he played the whole time with his hands in his pocket because he really is just that cool) lol.
Afterwards we heade north to meet up with my sister and her friend at the Tulip Festival area. The tulip weren't in full bloom so that was a bummer, but we found some pretty daffodil fields. The kids also had fun at cow town, as I posted before.

I almost forgot it was 70 degrees and warm! It felt sooooo nice!
(today was rainy,breezy and cold).
I gave my sister a bowl I made her at one of those paint-your-own-pottery places. I'm addicted. I started with a spoon rest, then her bowl, now I'm working on a teapot for my grandmothers birthday.
I like this place, there's no extra cost besides the cost of the piece. That includes the firing, paint, etc. And I can bring it back several time to finish it, they just don't have room to store it.
They also have a ladies night, two actually, and they are open until 9pm. My friend and I have been going the last few weeks. Anyways, I wish I'd have taken a picture of my sisters bowl.
The inside is like a globe sort of. Blue and green. With a few trees painted against it. The rim is bright yellow. The back is yellow with a the firedancer ( DMB thing, she has the tattoo) with some swirls and a quote that went great with the fire*dancer* and suited my sister and I. Not too mushy, but describing us.
"Of two sisters, one is always the watcher, one the dancer". I, of course, being the watcher.
If for no other reason than that she dances in pubic. LOL. Actually, that's not the only reason. But it could be.
She's doing okay, btw. She has a neuro appt on May 8th. She's getting headaches and the blurry vision here and there, but she's continuing to work and such.
Well, tomorrow and Wednesday are just as busy as today was.
Tomororw is Lucas school, than speech and Kileys dance.
Wednesday Kileys at school all day, then has soccery. I also have two different doctors appts that day.
Yikes. This is why I enjoyed doing almost nothing during spring break.
I got the habit of staying up to late, and sleeping in over spring break...no more of that.
I'm already up to late tonight. I'll end this with a photo of the sunset while driving over Deception Pass bridge on Saturday night.
